The law firm Kalliop\u00e9 (Kalliop\u00e9<\/em>) launches a sponsorship programme<\/a> aimed at promoting committed emerging artists, whose artwork invite reflection on the complex relationship between man and nature.<\/p>

Each year, Kalliop\u00e9 will highlight a new artist by offering its new Paris headquarters as an exhibition place and disseminating the winner’s work through its institutional communication channels. The sponsorship will end with an auction of exhibited works, to the benefit of charities.<\/p>

The 2022-2023 edition of the sponsorship programme opens with Vivien Ayroles<\/a> who, in his series \u201cHort de Dieu\u201d, puts the spotlight on the meteorological observatory of Mont-Aigoual, located in the C\u00e9vennes at an altitude of almost 1,600 m. The last mountain weather station in France offers a unique landscape evoking to the artist \u201cthe intimate struggle between spirituality and rationality<\/em>\u201d and symbolises, in his view, \u201ca thought that is all the more political at a time when climate change is having its first effects on Western lifestyles<\/em>\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>

The ephemeral decor made possible by this sponsorship is hung on the walls of the new Paris headquarters of Kalliop\u00e9, which are located in the 8th arrondissement and in which the team moved last May. A wider selection of his artwork from the series can also be viewed on the new website of Kalliop\u00e9, which inaugurates its new identity at the same time.<\/p>

Jocelyn Duval, partner and co-head of the Environment and Industry expertise declares: \u201cPhotography allows us both to set free our imagination and to anchor ourselves in reality. The relationship between man and nature is a stake in most of the matters that we handle and it was important for us to honour artists and their interpretation of this rich and complex topic. Through this sponsorship, we are keen to present other perspectives on our relationship with nature and are willing to awaken the sensitivity and emotion of each one of us through committed works of art.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>
