We invite you to discover the work of Marguerite de Tavernost, the artist selected for our 2026–2027 sponsorship programme.
Marguerite is a French photographer whose singular path informs a practice driven by curiosity and conviction. Having spent twelve years abroad — in London, Istanbul, Madrid, Berlin and Cape Town — and built a career in innovation, technology and venture capital, she decided in 2021 to further develop her artistic project centred on analogue photography, presenting a series of exhibitions in Paris. Travel has shaped her life from an early age, opening the way to varied landscapes and encounters, and nurturing a keen sensitivity to the natural world and the cultures she crosses and absorbs through experience.
Her photography is guided by intuition and a desire to remain close to what is real. Working exclusively with film, she embraces a slower rhythm, the tactility of materials and the unpredictability inherent in the medium. Through her journeys and her work as a photojournalist, she composes images that capture both atmosphere and nuance — glimpses of reality that prompt us to reconsider the way we see.

Analogue photography forms the backbone of her approach. Its constraints are, for her, a source of freedom: the finite number of frames, the patience required by development, the character of the grain, the serendipity of imperfections. In a world dominated by speed and visual saturation, this deliberate return to a more grounded process has become both an artistic stance and a philosophical choice.
Led by instinct, she searches for “the one angle that is non-obvious to the naked eye” — the one that brings forward the strength and often unexpected harmony of nature. Her work sits at the meeting point of photoreportage, contemplation and aesthetic exploration, offering images that gently shift the viewer’s perspective.
With each photograph, Marguerite invites us to pause, to notice, and to reconnect with what is easily overlooked when life accelerates.

Concerned about the present time and convinced that art is both a source of reflection and a strong means of expression, thanks to the emotion it arouses, we value committed artists.
Each year, we support the work of an emerging artist who invites us to reflect on the impact of man on his environment. We put forward a selection of the artist’s work in our offices in Paris and through our institutional communication.
The winner of the 2026-2027 edition was selected by the partners and associates of our firm, sensitive to the chosen topic and its artistic treatment.
Photography allows us both to set free our imagination and to anchor ourselves in reality. The relationship between man and nature is a stake in most of the matters that we handle and it was important for us to honour artists and their interpretation of this rich and complex topic. Through this sponsorship, we are keen to present other perspectives on our relationship with nature and are willing to awaken the sensitivity and emotion of each one of us through committed works of art
