As we welcome the new year, we are delighted to unveil our 2026–2027 artistic sponsorship, entrusted to the perceptive and committed eye of photographer Marguerite de Tavernost.
Marguerite is a French photographer whose singular path informs a practice driven by curiosity and conviction. Having spent twelve years abroad — in London, Istanbul, Madrid, Berlin and Cape Town — and built a career in innovation, technology and venture capital, she chose in 2021 to dedicate herself entirely to photography. Travel has shaped her life from an early age, opening the way to varied landscapes and encounters, and nurturing a keen sensitivity to the natural world and the cultures she crosses.
Her photography is guided by intuition and a desire to remain close to what is real. Working exclusively with film, she embraces a slower rhythm, the tactility of materials and the unpredictability inherent in the medium. Through her journeys and her work as a photojournalist, she composes images that capture both atmosphere and nuance — glimpses of reality that prompt us to reconsider the way we see.
Her work “Miroir Miroir”, which accompanies our New Year’s greetings, offers a symbolic entry into 2026. Inverted horizons, unfolding light, sky and sea mirroring one another: an invitation to pause time and travel differently, if only for a moment.
