House of HR, a leader in human resources services in Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany, acquired the start-up StaffMe, which specialises in connecting freelancers with companies for one-off assignments.
Founded in 2016 by Amaury d’Everlange and Jean-Baptiste Achard, StaffMe quickly established itself in France as an essential platform on the youth self-employment market, enabling young freelancers to access thousands of professional missions offered by companies with one-off needs.
House of HR, which already operates in France in the temporary employment market, with NowJobs platform, intends by this acquisition to accelerate its development in the digital staffing market by gathering offers of missions of varying length and under different statuses to allow very simple access to employment, and thus position itself as a leader in youth employment in all its forms.
During this operation, the business angels and investment funds (M Capital and Turenne Partenaires) withdrew from the capital of StaffMe. The founders of StaffMe remain minority shareholders to support House of HR in its growth in the freelance labour market.
StaffMe and its founders and business angels were advised on this operation by Kalliopé with a team composed of Tanguy d’Everlange (partner) and Thomas Gaborit (associate) for corporate aspects and Florence Coussau (partner) for labour law aspects.
